Precept Now Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Student Payment Terms & Conditions
This Payment Terms & Conditions Agreement by and between Precept Now, 3735 Franklin Road Roanoke, VA 24014 (“Precept Now”) and you (“Student”).
The Parties agree as follows:
Precept Now is an online APRN student/ professional community that that allows APRN student subscription-based access to Precept Now student community and preceptor selection/request & Free APRN professional access to Precept Now Professional online community for educational purposes, selection & communication with available preceptors, students, Precept Now users, and Precept Now APRN professional student interactions nationwide. **Available APRN Preceptor selection limited to student access only**
Precept Now APRN Students and Precept Now Professional community users represents and warrants that s/he is in good standing with his or her university/program and/or active professional licensure in order to complete Rotation credit hours in full and intends on completing the payment (If applicable) for the Clinical Rotation as defined by agreements established by Precept Now users: Students and Preceptor.
Precept Now subscriptions are available for 3, 6, and 12-month rotating calendar access and payment is a ONE-TIME, NON-REFUNDABLE FEE. No refunds will be issued under any circumstance. Subscription fees for each plan detail: $199/3 months access, $399/6 months access, and $599/12 months access. Payment information is processed through a third party and no payment information is saved. No recurring charge will be completed if student renewal access is requested. Receipt of subscription access purchase will be emailed at the time of transaction. Please relay any transaction concerns to support@preceptnow.com for further review.
Upon completion of APRN student studies and new licensure confirmation the Precept Now APRN student will then have upgraded Free Precept Now Professional account and unlimited, unrestricted access to the Professional community aspect of Precept Now and is now free of charge with no further payment needed for website access for length of user account. New APRN license verification is needed prior to student account being disabled and new Professional APRN account established. User settings should remain the same. The ability to select preceptors will no longer be an option in the upgraded Free Professional Precept Now account.
Precept Now is not responsible or legally liable in any way for enforcement of Precept Now user agreements for preceptorship, monitoring of user agreements, completion of required paperwork requested, submitted, transmitted by Precept Now APRN student user to Precept Now Preceptor user or vice versa for submission to licensing boards, secure and/or timely transmission of documents between any Precept Now user and/or transmission of documents/ required paperwork to APRN schools, universities, or APRN program of any kind. Precept Now is not responsible and does not participate, monitor, govern, nor enforce any agreement (formal, nonformal, Fee for service, or Free of service) created by any users. Precept Now is not responsible for any loss of clinical rotation, incompletion of any agreements created by users (including payment, selection of clinical precepting dates, rotation, completion or incompletion of rotation agreement), APRN students are subjected to complying with preceptor facility agreements and requirements not set out nor governed by Precept Now. Precept Now is not liable or responsible in any way for any monitoring, reviewing, governing, or the directing of any clinical sites or clinical facility policies listed/ posted on Precept Now for student selection. Sites and preceptors are selected at student discretion and confirmation of clinicals sites is not governed, monitored, established by Precept Now and confirmation and securing of preceptor is based on availability, user agreements, compliance with clinical site requirements, and dates requested/availability.
Precept Now student users have the potential to view, search students and preceptors in their area or nationwide for clinical rotations. Student’s requested clinical rotation (“Rotation”), which is defined as medical internships/clerkships that Student will need for credit hours to complete their higher education program. Rotation can be completed in clinic setting and/or hospital setting.
Precept Now User agreements including: payments made to other Precept Now users for Fee for service interactions (Preceptor accepting payment for clinical hours as preceptor in desired rotation), Free of service (Preceptors that are not accepting money for precepting hours completed) are not governed, overseen, or monitored by Precept Now. Professional code of conduct encouraged with all user interactions.
